The Accounting and Finance Manager is responsible for the accounting and financial operations of Conlon Construction Company and Conlon Development Company. This position is accountable for the accounting operations of the companies, to include the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company’s reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles. This position would also lead special projects, detailed analysis and other tasks to support good business decisions and increase overall profitability.
Thorough knowledge of the Construction Integrated Job Cost and General Ledger of Sage 300 Software Accounting Systems is required and experience developing/implementing accounting systems/processes is desired.
The Accounting and Finance position is an office based position requiring repetitive use of a computer and keyboard, sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Occasional travel to job sites or for off site meetings and/or conferences may be required.
