Conlon Construction Co. has an internship opportunity for a Construction Project Engineer on the Retail Construction Team starting in June 2019.
Project Engineer interns will assist the project team in the completion of designated retail construction projects while focusing on learning construction industry processes and procedures, Conlon business practices, and big-box retail construction procedures. Interns will gain a working understanding of budgets, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, and change orders while developing an understanding of jobsite coordination, scheduling, quality control and safety. Upon completion of the assignment, the intern may apply for a permanent position with Conlon’s Retail Construction Team.
This will be a full-time position for 2-3 months starting June 2. The successful candidate will bring a willingness to learn and take direction from a Conlon Construction Co. Superintendent and Project Manager. Good communication, interpersonal, and computer skills are a must. Some experience with onsite construction safety and construction procedures is strongly desired.
