Job Description

The Superintendent is responsible for scheduling, coordinating and supervising on-site field and subcontracted employee activities during all phases of the project. Qualified candidates must be able to keep project build on schedule, and effectively communicate with the project manager, owner, and other project team member to ensure the job meets standards as provided in drawings and specifications. The Superintendent attends and/or conducts project related meetings as necessary and ensure all required parties are represented. Additional duties include timekeeping and timecard submission, development or assisting with the development of the master schedule, review of shop drawings for key materials and finalization of as-builts, turnover and walk throughs for equipment and material.


Four year degree in Construction Management or related field preferred but not required

5-7 years related experience

Ability to interpret and read documents such as blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and contracts.

Ability to identify and solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability, angle computation, and the fundamentals of plane and solid geometry.

Valid Drivers license and post offer drug screen are required.
